Digital Voice Message System Kit, 1-2 Channels

The intent of the DVMS2 is to allow recording and playback up to 8 separate digitally stored voice messages with the press of a single button or two. A standard DB25 style connector provides the ability to connect remote function controls and indicators to the unit so you can customize your controls to meet your needs. And in addition to the 2, 3 and 8 message versions, a special version is available to allow simple direct selection with a 3 wire interface, (BCD), of any of the 8 messages from a digital controller such as the brand new DCI2 DTMF control interface or a computer and then use the play, stop, and pause controls to control the message. You can even configure the DVMS to provide continuous looping of a message with programmable delays of 0 secs, .5 secs, 1 min, 30 min, and 60 minutes. The main unit has all the function and display controls on the front panel which can be disabled with a lock code to prevent unauthorized tampering. RCA unbalanced line level outputs are provided for easy connection to any amplifier, amplified speaker, mixer, or sound system. In addition, a standard 4-8 ohm speaker output is provided to directly drive a monitor speaker. This is frequently built-in to museum displays! There are separate versions of the DVMS which provide your choice of 1-2 messages, 1-3 messages, 1-8 messages, or 1-8 messages with a BCD control input. Each model is identical hardware wise, so should your requirements change, you can always have your unit reprogrammed to the required level! With the BCD interface you can connect a simple Touch-Tone decoder interface to control the unit via a telephone input! Simply use our DCI2 DTMF control interface or a computer to inteface with the DVMS8BCD.
