The first two tapes we tried became detached from the spool and couldn't be rewound or played back... we are returning this item.

I need microcassettes for my office dictation machine and these are the best I've found. Occasionally a tape will give out after 2-3 months, but generally speaking they can last up to a year or more of steady use. July 6, 2011.

These tapes are reasonably priced and are of decent quality. However I would not use these tapes for music recording; but for voice such as notes-to-self and recording lectures and meetings these tapes are wonderful.
