I really like this product. For the price, it's a steal. I do wish it had a bit more features to it, but, again, it's not $300. I bought this for college because I write terribly slow, and I can listen to my professors' lectures over and over again until I get the notes I want written. One of my classes it rather large for my school, and other students are a little loud. Even though it's a quiet room, when you have that many people in a single room, they just tend to not be silent. I tried using one of its helpful functions; this function (can't remember what it's called) has a bar set, and if the surrounding noise (an air conditioner or other constant rumble) is apparent, it does not record this (provided you have the bar set just above this). My professor, however, gets kind of quiet. I just wish this setting had more preset bar settings, or just let you set it where ever you wanted. That's pretty much my only complaint. The recorder picks up all background noises based on the sensitivity you chose. It picks up a train that is more than a mile away. I tried using it for the ghosts/spirits in my house, which kind of worked but I hear everything else in the house(fridge, AC unit and a clock) more!

This item is easy to use. With a long battery life and a monstrous memory, I can record all my thoughts and interviews without worrying about missing anything.
