This review is from: RCA Digital 128 MB built in flash Memory voice recorder (Office Product) I did not get this device for the camera. At 0.3Mp, it is not as good as my Philips key019 at 2Mp (too bad they don't make those anymore). It came with it, so I have it Picture seems ok. Probably comparable to some phones.
It seems to offer all the settings that one may want for a voice recorder: Quality control (3 settings), mic sensitivity (conf, dictation) and AVR with AVR level setting. I do not intend to use less than the HQ (best) level recording as you can already put more than 8 hours of it on there. At that level, the sound is clear. It seems to pick up well with the internal mic and maybe better with the provided external mic (but the difference would not justify going through great length to use the external one). The positive change was dramatic. The digital voice files are easy to download/play on your computer (or MP3 player) enabling the student to do class review and study for finals, and photos of lab experiments and Calculus problems worked out on the classroom chalkboard help to solidify concepts in the student's mind. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: RCA Digital 128 MB built in flash Memory voice recorder (Office Product) Very disappointed. Each time you turn on the recorder the volume drops to mid range and if you wish to record a message you must hold very close to your mouth and then you can only hear it if you hold it against your ear. If you turn the volume up and try to record then it picks up all the noise around you and you can not understand replay. I am very unhappy with my purchase. It did not live up to its description. |
