Summary: Nothing better in the WORLD!!!!!! 2010-08-31
Comment: I just recently went back to school at the age of 39 with severe ADHD. I forget much of what I learn because of memory probs. This recorder has SAVED MY LIFE and helped me to get A's on every test. This recorder holds 180 hours of recording on the MEDIUM setting, not sure what the lowest resolution setting holds (but it's TONS more). And you can transfer files to your computer to save. I LOVE this very helpful academic tool and will never let it out of my sight!!!!! Buy one, you won't ever regret it!!!!! :)

Comment: This is actually the second voice recorder I have bought. The first one was an RCA I bought at Walmart. It only worked once for a few minutes! It was a disaster. Then I bought this one. Sony is a good brand name, and I have had a lot more success with this one. One feature I miss though that the RCA had was the flip out USB connection. This one doesn't have a USB connection. It also totally depends on batteries, and the batteries are not rechargeable. The sound quality is very good, probably even excellent. It is easy to use. It has a microfone in jack and a headphone or line-out jack. The price and brand name were what attracted me to the product, and I have been generally satisfied.
