Sony ICD-SX700D Digital Voice Recorder with Voice Operated Recording
This review is from: Sony ICD-SX700D Digital Voice Recorder with Voice Operated Recording (Electronics)
If it didn't cost $180, I would throw it against the wall to see how many pieces it would make. Fine recorder, but when attached to the computer, the USB kept disconnecting and reconnecting every two or three seconds. Prior Sony digital recorder was great but this USB instability is bad.

We needed a pocket recorder with lots of features, and really liked the feature of being able to print out what has been recorded. There were plenty of cheaper ones out there of different brands, but you usually get what you pay for. Cheap usually doesn't get you a good value or high quality product. Sony is usually a little pricier, but the better product quality is well worth it.
