Zoom H2 Silicone Protective Jacket + Unique Squared Stickers

I bought this along with my new H2, and haven't removed it since.

Yeah, it would be a pain to remove all the time, but I don't see any reason to ever remove it, unless you got your H2 wet or something, maybe?

The SD door is not blocked at all. The battery door is slightly harder to remove, but not really an issue. It's good, because you won't lose the door and batteries if you drop the H2 on the floor.

The button membrane is covered, but to me this is a good thing. Like the other reviewer said, if you didn't like the extra protection, you could always cut it out with a razor.

In addition to the great protection, the silicone jacket also keeps the H2 from sliding around. I can put it on a church lectern during a wedding and feel confident it won't get knocked off. This in itself is a great reason to buy one!

The H2 Recorder IS hard to get into and out of the jacket, but I never take it out. Batteries can be changed, and SD memory can be removed and reinstalled with the jacket on.

I gave it four stars because the jacket covers the operation buttons on the front. The buttons are already membrane type buttons, so they need no protection. The jacket makes it very difficult to read the labels of these buttons. I'm considering cutting this thin membrane section out with an X-Acto knife.

Update: I cut the membrane out, and it looks perfect, like it was made that way. Now, complete unfettered access to the controls.

I'm not sure what others complaints are about with fitting it, I got it on with much ease, just pushing it through the bottom.

I got this because the plastic body on my zoom recorder was beginning to get scratched. This should be a great accessory, I can access everything just fine.
